Despite all the foolery behind the Drake and Meek feuds and social media rants, the L’s were claimed to end rapper’s career. With Meek’s gift of music, the gossips were irrelevant compared to his life. Meek’s main concern was to chase his dreams. And today, you can’t deny the accomplishments given for hard work and dedication. It seems he took major L’s such as break up with Nicki Minaj, justice system, and all other accusations. We just call it life and when you at a pivotal moment in your life, it may comes at you full force.

Philly’s own Meek Mills debuted his third album this summer called “Wins and Losses“. Executive Produced By The Boss RickRossMMG’s own has given his fans 17 tracks filled with what’s real and what makes sense. The artists defines wins and losses through his music. With the mourn of Lil Snupe, family and friends losing they life in prison, the violence from the home town, define an actual loss to Meek. The height of his career, the fortune, the fame, the successes made are the wins. Twitter rants were not a factor for the artist as so he say. In his album, you can hear the maturity in his lyrics and the concerns of awareness.

With appearances by Yo Gotti, Future, Quavo,Teyana Taylor, Chris Brown, Guordan Banks, The-Dream, and several more.

The production was crazy with Honorable C N.O.T.E, Wheezy, Cardiak, DJ Mustard, !llmind, Maaly Raw, and more.

Heavy Heart” is heartfelt for anyone who witnessed betrayals, pain, and remembrance. Beautiful, soulful feelings through the samples throughout the beat. “We Ball” featuring YoungThug was tribute for Lil Snupe.

Our highlight of the album was “These Scars” with Future and Guordan Banks. This track is definitely understood about what’s due to us in the unfortunate society. Future could have done better in opinion. The beat and content of the song was not for Future. The seriousness didn’t coincide.

Overall, the album was a nice sense of relevancy.  Nothing compares to older projects. But at the same time, time changes, topics change, life change. So we don’t expect the artist to speak the same thoughts. But we also don’t expect the artist to lose touch. His so called losses may have took a hit but should never diminish his character. We hope all but Greatness and success for the big homie.
