Young Thug came along and drops a 3 tracked EP with three dope features on “Hear No Evil”. If you are a fan of Thug’s work, then you anticipate how would this project may sound. He brings Nicki Minaj, Lil Uzi Vert, and 21 Savage into his world. Young Thug always had his own sense of sound where now it becomes duplicated. Thug bought us back to some of his original Flow with the three tracks.
“Anybody” featuring Nicki Minaj has been anticipating for the fan as they both post on social media about the drop. The track has a nice flow and beat. Nicki suites the track well. We enjoy this track more than her latest singles.
“Up” featuring Lil Uzi Vert is produced by Southside. Uzi Vert did his thing on the track as he steps his game up with his wordplay. Thug gives us that upbeat tone in this voice. This high pitched sound becomes familiar from his throwback tracks. Not one of our favorite types but he created his own style with that, and he can keep that! Overall, the track is nice.
Last, he collaborates with 21 Savage on “Now”. They both kills the beat as they boasts about their money, hoes, and cars. They both complement each other’s swag on the track. The production is a catch as well. 21 Savage comes stunting the entire time on the track.
Overall, this EP is what we needed from Thug. You can hear it below:
So after listening to “Chun Li” from Nicki Minaj, we said to ourselves that there has to be more to this! The track was cool, but with the anticipation, she could have just made a drop. But she is not Beyoncé right? Any-who, Nicki gave bars on “Barbie Tingz”. Again, she has this alter-ego that becomes sort of weird. We just wished she came super hard because the potential is extreme. Seems like she playing safe. Her deliverance on this track is much harder than the last track “Chun-Li”. The motives of these tracks seems to be that she wants the world to know who holds the Queen crown. She did better on “Motorsport”! But hey, we just awaiting for more! NEXT!!!!
Nicki Minaj comes out to play, again. Nicki has the song “Chun-Li” which is inspired from Street Fighter. After listening to the track, she infers that critics says she the villain. She calls herself “King Kong”.
She becomes the “Chun Li” alter-ego, she creates a quiets storm with the track. We believe she could have came more direct with her message. If shots are being thrown, or perhaps she feel she is a threat, speak upon that. The production of the track is nice yet off and fits the motives of “Chun Li”. We can see Nicki is sending a message that she holds the titles of the championship. We need more energy from Nicki. Nicki is truly one of Hip-Hop’s most influential artists period. Let’s see what the other track sounds like!

It had us in awe that the super artist praise our culture the way he does. The song has an upbeat to it and gives you a reason to move. He embraced New Orleans culture from the roots with this one. This should make everyone smile from the hometown. He dedicates it to the ladies, and praises them as well.
