The intro “Ox On The Line” shares a phone conversation prior to BWA Ox’s release from prison. The flow of the mixtape continues with street lyrics and hard production.

The album has a host of various artists such as Blac Youngsta, Almighty Dollar, Pitt X, Yung LB, Woop, RG Shyne, Bezz Believe, Yung Mazi, Tokey Heffner, and more. What is so unique is that each appearance grace the project with different styles and flows that relates to the streets. We look forward to hearing more from the OG.

New Orleans was granted a special gift after the holidays with Swisha Sweet’s massive show. Swisher Sweets presents The Artist Project where they created a show to highlight both mainstream and independent artists. The concert took place at The Orpheum Theater downtown of New Orleans. Every year, The Artist Project travels to different cities across the nation.
The NOLA Takeover gave seven emerging artists a chance to shine, opening for some of our biggest hip hop artists today. The artists consists of Snap Dogg, Kelechi, Iman, Charles Bryan, J Soulja, Don Doliver, and Rizzoo Rizzoo. These 7 artists were chosen and voted in by fans. They received the chance to open up for MGK, Desiigner, Gucci Mane, and Fetti Wap.
Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a special welcome from Swisher Sweets. The venue was filled with a great amount of fans, supporters, and special guests. The cheerful crowd anticipates all talents.
With New Orleans legendary, DJ Mannie Fresh and Comedian Rude Jude, they kept the crowd rolling. They kept us hyped and full of energy.
What we noticed was that the lineup for the show became diverse. We would normally see all opening acts perform before the headliners. Well, Swisher shuffled the stars with aspiring artists. Giving everyone a chance to be equally heard throughout the show. This made the show more exciting.
Every artist gave a good show, we received a special show from Fetti Wap. He served his fans up and down the stage. He seemed to have enjoyed the show as much as the audience did. Wap dances and sang without a doubt in his mind. We got the chance to see him live performing all of his hit songs.
Next, we seen the best performance of the show By Machine Gun Kelly. MGK show seemed to be one of the most anticipated from the crowds reaction. He bounced from one end of stage to another, even climbing on top of balcony. Touching everyone from upstairs on down, we loved that part of show.
The last performance was worth waiting for as LaFlare (Gucci Mane) comes unto the stage glowing the venue up! Atlanta’s own comes to New Orleans and sang his fans favorite songs. Gucci is no stranger to the Big Easy, you can tell he felt as f he was at home. He performed hits such as “Lemonade”, “Freaky Girl”, “Wake Up In The Sky”, “Black Beatles”, and more.
Overall, concert was a great experience. We become intimate with the artists, which joined the fans together. One thing that we did noticed was some of the crowd participation become tough for some of the opening acts. The support from the audience lingered throughout the show. Besides that, we give the show both thumbs up! We would like to thank Swisher Sweets for allowing us to attend their show. Can’t wait to see what’s next for the New Year!

“Look at your Rollie, look at my Rollie…” and watch the remarkable collaboration between empowered Hip Hop culture visionary Travi$ Scott with the Philly-based MC Lil Uzi Vert and his Hip Hop Godfather Mr. West.
The “Watсh” follows up straight after the “Butterfly Effect” and brings even more suspense to the Houston-native’s highly-anticipated next LP – “Astroworld”.
The opening line reveals the background story of the future album, which is named after the legendary Houston theme park closed in 2005. “The last ride ever, that I’m ever gonna take at Astroworld” opens the song about new values and change of perspective.
Each MCs drops a verse over the sick trap-styled beat. The most striking lines are coming from the Yeezy, when he speaks about his opioid addiction that was discussed in the latest TMZ interview.
Kylie Jenner the girlfriend of Travis Scott finishes the song with a lovely but also provoсative line. She praised their new-born baby Stormy: “We got bust down Rollies, bust down Rollies, And I told him I wanted to have a bust down baby” – another change of perspective for Travis.
Check out the brand-new tune and give it some favor if you like it!
So after listening to “Chun Li” from Nicki Minaj, we said to ourselves that there has to be more to this! The track was cool, but with the anticipation, she could have just made a drop. But she is not Beyoncé right? Any-who, Nicki gave bars on “Barbie Tingz”. Again, she has this alter-ego that becomes sort of weird. We just wished she came super hard because the potential is extreme. Seems like she playing safe. Her deliverance on this track is much harder than the last track “Chun-Li”. The motives of these tracks seems to be that she wants the world to know who holds the Queen crown. She did better on “Motorsport”! But hey, we just awaiting for more! NEXT!!!!
What a great time for Curren$y and Lex Luger to drop their latest creation, “The Motivational Speech EP“. These two guys made a potion full solid sounds and vibes. The New Orleans Artist, Curren$y has definitely kept it real with his fans by updating more music to scenes. His relaxed demeanor and swag on the tracks keep you in tune.
With his latest video “Pressure”, its steady applied. The smokey scenes, and Lex Luger’s production comes along on point. With both of their personalities, you know for sure those sessions were light up. It is always dope to see one of the most influential producers to create music with Spitta. Lex definitely captured Curren$y’s yet New Orleans’s voice. The Motivational Speech EP is an unique compilcation with two masters in mind. It should not not be overseen due to its effortless sounds and lyrics. You will have it on repeat.
