The new Gucci Mane interview has surfaced the internet. With his new album dropping “Wopster2” and latest collaboration with Gucci, this interview allows fans to indulge into his life. On October 17th, Gucci Mane sit down with Charlamagne Tha God. This also becomes Gucci’s 101 project out today. What a true blessing and hard work!
Gucci speaks with Charlamagne about his marriage with Keyshia Ka’Oir. His marriage became the pivotal change of his life after prison. His wife played a key factor in his turnaround. Gucci Mane lost trust with many close to him. He trusted his wife and states how he needed her. Their marriage helped Gucci mature as a men and a husband.
Charlamagne asks him about a few artists that were signed to him. He explains how he released Young Thug and Ralo because he could not do anything more for them. He states how he introduced The Migos to Coach K and QC. He explains how everything was fair and he look at his artists as his friends. He also talks about his relationship with Kodak Black. Kodak payed homage to Gucci by getting a feature from him when he first came home. He expressed how their friendship grows and their talks about growth.
Gucci has always had an eye for artists. As long as we have known him, anyone he co-signed became a star. From Young Thug, Peewee Longway, Future, Migos, and Young Dolph, we know them from Gucci Mane. His list of producers are also platinum from Zaytoven, Honorable C Note, 808 Mafia, Dun Deal, and more.
Overall the interview was enlightening and refreshing. The fact to hear Gucci explanation his faults and understand his influence to the world was meaningful. He shares how he had to apologize several times to his friends. He has matured into a better man. Charlamagne also shows his maturity in the interview. Meaning he did a great job with Gucci, alone. It may spark some rings that Charlamagne did this interview without the rest of the Breakfast Club. Gucci has a little beef with Angela Yee. Of course he addressed their beef but we advise you to watch the interview for yourself!
Summer is now approaching an end and the children are getting prepared for this school year. What makes this so unique was to see the community gather such a delightful school drive to prepare children and parents. This may have been a hot sunny day but it did not stop everyone from working together to create an impactful event.
Councilman Jerry Davis, Bread of Life, Impacting Houston, and East Houston Civic Club joined forces to have the back to school supply giveaway at A.G. Hilliard Elementary in North East Houston. Stepping unto the schools’ grounds, you could not help to view many children enjoying the fun, food and games at hand. They were given school supplies, hair cuts and hair do’s, and also everyday necessities for families. Councilman Jerry Davis gives tickets to WWE match and there were also cash raffles with East Houston Civic Club. From bounce machines to the break dancing challenges, the children got a chance to end summer with a bang!
We had the chance to speak with several community organizations and businesses as the provide information of their products and services:
Fredy Gomez with Harris County Texas, Shambriah Busby with Healing Hearts, and Desiree Barnes with United Health Care. Drive HISD was also in attendance, sharing their mission with school transportation.
With invites, we got the chance to see Miss Cynthia Bailey who is currently running for District B work hard with Impacting Houston Inc. Cynthia’s work ethnics and experiences in the community gives a huge impact to the neighborhoods. She strives to create a better quality of life for all residents in District B. As the backpacks and supplies were given to families, one of the main occurrences was to watch the teamwork from everyone.
There were over 1000 backpacks given to the children this weekend. This shined the facility even more with smiles from kids preparing to get back to school. We would like to thank Jerry Davis, Principal Erika Kimble with A.G. Hilliard Elementary, Bread of Life, Impacting Houston, and The East Houston Civic Club for sharing moments given to the future of the next generations.

We caught up with an aspiring rap artist from Houston named LaVander. After listening to his music, we anticipate hearing what he has coming up in the future. As an upcoming artist, things become challenging when you are channeling your craft. LaVander has a sense of flow within his music. His concept with his lyrics are heard, yet something is missing. LaVander is a hip hop artist that’s taking his music one step at a time.
Although the artist can bring the concept of his tracks to life, he needs to become more enthused in this music. Practicing your flow and how the fans will interpret your voice is very important! LaVander has this unique presence on the mic and we look forward to hearing more from him.
Across the world, the sleeping giants are trying to keep the community afloat. Ever since we met Sandra Massie Hines, we continue to keep up with her hard work within the city of Houston. As The Honorary Mayor of Sunnyside, Community Outreach Service Specialist, and Activist, she contribute a large amount of her time with the community.
Every first Saturday of each month, Metropolitan C.M.E Men’s Ministry does their part. They conduct the “Doing Our Part” Senior, Homeless, And Community Luncheon. Mr. Henry Durley is the President of the Men’s Ministry. He does a pleasant job accommodating the people and that the are fed.
November 10th, Nyte Lyfe Lexx was requested to become Mistress of Ceremony for the Fellowship Meal. With her efforts of gathering young hip hop artists, she insisted that a few come and volunteer with her at the church. She reached out to several artists. Houston Artist BG Kenny Lou and The Lyrical Angel JR were the only ones to be present. Kenny bought a few friends with him including Artist Ghost Magneto. They came introduced themselves as well as announced they were going to feed the homeless afterwards. We were thrilled to hear these guys are going to use their time to give back in the community.
Kenny Lou and Ghost were collaborating at this time with their music. They were steady in the studio planning the next move.
November 27, was when these young men passed away. They were both killed in Houston in a club parking lot. This became one of the most hurtful deaths to happen in Houston this year.
All over the news and the internet, media portrayed these young men as gang members, and Gang affiliation. This deterred search of the killers, as the media gives us a negative narrative of these young men.
This had Sandra Hines upset. The fact that these men were in her church home wanting to do positive things. The police and media may not be aware of their right doings. Sandra makes sure of that by sharing their story all over social media.
The Honorable Al Green, Member Of Congress presented both Kenny and Ghost flags flown over The United States Capitol. They were the same flags given to Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr. The deepest condolences were extended from the Men’s Ministry as well.
In today’s generation, we suffer with having a wide range to outlets to give back in the community. We will continue bringing awareness to resources our people need in Houston.
We give special thanks to Metro Ministry To Men, The Metropolitan CME Church Family, JR Achievers and Sunnyside Silver Hair Seniors Group Inc, MOSS Committee , Connie Ford (Russell & Smith Ford), Angelia Reese, Dori Wolfe, and Efrem Jernigan, FNM $hoota, and Vision4Productions.
There are definitely a change of plans with the great body of work created by Bam Rogers. The Arkansas Hip-Hop artist blessed his fans on his birthday November 14th with his new project. Bam Rogers is an artist under Rap-A-Lot Records. The twelve tracked album has an amazing selection for all to enjoy.
What’s even more exciting is the production throughout “Change of Plans”. Super Producer QB The Problem masters his craft with eight tracks. Each track depicts a story while Bam give us his all on each song. QB explains how this was one lengthy project to complete. In our opinion, this was definitely worth the wait, which created perfect timing. There was also production by Code Red, Rambo, and Bruce Bang, who produced the bonus track “Never Be The Same”. His team took no short cuts and delivered thus far one of his best creations yet. “Change of Plans” has now woken up the sleeping giant.
The first track of “Change of Plans” is titled “Wake You Up” featuring Bilbo Rogers. He creates a sensual masterpiece. His collaboration with the R&B singer Bilbo did not take away from his sound. Bam expresses his bedroom stories which becomes very vivid for any lady once they hear it. This was a great collaboration.
“Solid” is one of our top picks from the album. He speaks on how many may not be as solid as expected. He explains how his expectations fades after seeing the truth. This song can become relative soon as it comes on. The production of the track is strong and can be placed on repeat.
“On Time” produced by Code Red, immediately brings you to a particular place. The introduction of the track carries “Always on Time” by Ashanti and JaRule. You wouldn’t expect Bam Rogers to share this beautiful voice. Again he talks to that lady, where you will find this song very intimate.
“Blessings” becomes another dope song on the album. He switches it up several times where he keeps up with his momentum. The beat doesn’t make it any better, the production shifts from the first few seconds into the song. We love how the producer continues to convey each of their tracks with Bam’s mastermind.
“Faithful” will be a favorite without a doubt. This track has a Caribbean style with sexy flows for you to dance to. He speaks on being faithful on each sides of the fence. Bam’s sensual voice aligns perfectly with its production.
“Change” is a plead to make things right between him and his lady friend. The short depiction he shares gives his apologies, pouring his heart out with his voice. You can hear him giving his all. This will be on repeat from many of his fans.
He treats us all and saves “Never Be The Same” as his bonus track. With production by Super Producer Bruce Bangs, you begin to fall right into the song. As soon as it comes on, you anticipates more from it. This song has become a game changer, with no exaggeration.
Overall the project has set another bar for this year. Soon as we thought the year was over, Bam Rogers comes with a “Change of Plans”. Each one of the songs are not as lengthy, which keeps the motives of the album to continue to flow. Bam has found the way to please the ear with his beautiful voice. This did not take away from his hardcore rap style. He perfectly connected two sides of him. His team of production has definitely set the standards to another level. “Change of Plans” will become one of the best to drop this year, period. We advise you to not take this album likely. He has something everyone would love to hear.
Creating a platform for artists to express themselves the right way has been our main objective. Houston’s Finest Unplugged TV viewed how unity within businesses can bring a great deal of people together. Since we began this blog site, we wanted to show what matters the most in our society. We created a team featuring DJ Mizzle, Don P, Sherita, and Nyte Lyfe Lexx. Once connecting dots with Music Exchange Radio and Vision4Productions, we wanted to share our insights on some very interesting hip hop artists.
Music Exchange Radio is an innovative media network which uses the combination of 24 hour live streaming, radio, television, website, and smart phone app. They market and promote independent music of all genres, culturally influence entrepreneurs, music and business education, all in relevance to independent artist.
We teamed up with some great entities to curate the show where people can be apart of. There were interviews in place for a few artists we felt need awareness bought to their dopeness.
It was only right to bring out artists such as Bam Rogers, BG Kenny Lou, FNM $hoota, and JR The Lyrical Angel.
We spoke with Arkansas Hip-Hop Artist Bam Rogers who truly is an artist. Bam states how he has been influenced by Music all of his life. He began at the age of 12. His family has a strong presence with Gospel music. This reflects on how talented Bam is and we are excited to see his future.
We talked about his album which dropped on his birthday November 14th called “Change of Plans”. His upcoming event is held at Astroworld Festival, November 17th. Be sure to check out his new album and our album review on “Change of Plans”.
Next we had a chance to chat with BG Kenny Lou, who is an aspiring artist out of Southpark Houston. This fella has a very interesting story and we commend him for sharing it with us. Kenny has been doing major performances with several high schools during their football games and homecoming activities. With his dope music and strong presence with the kids, The students highly anticipates his show and his words of encouragements. Kenny Lou is indeed what you will call a hardcore rapper, but in his music his melodies becomes anyone’s favorite.
Well not everyone enjoyed his work at the schools. For sure it doesn’t seem pretty having the Houston police displaying the artist on the news. The Houston Police are complaining about how are the schools can allow this artist to perform. In our opinion, how could any school let any rapper perform? Kenny Lou defends himself by telling his side of the story. The media played manipulation in this matter. Kenny shares how he does positive acts for his sake and not for any publicity stunt. He even volunteered with us at The Senior Luncheon at the church and fed the homeless afterwards. We planned prior to the accusations to have artist participate in our volunteer programs.
Besides that, we got a chance to hear his major single “Damn Thang” which is doing crazy numbers at this time. We hope and pray all goes well moving forward to his success in his career.
What’s Family and Money if you don’t see FNM $hoota. Westbank New Orleans artist has migrated to Houston and become an all around guy. You may see him in Atlanta one day, next in L.A. $hoota came chat with us about his future projects and next moves. His humbleness spreads in the room everywhere he go. We went to his video shoot for “Playing Games” a week ago. This tack is on his EP titled “All Hype Shit”. $hoota touches on how being able to move around helped him connect more than ever. He is definitely an underdog in the industry. His clothing line FNM Apparel is another example of his great work ethnics and sense of style.
We consider him a true artist who stands behind his brand. It’s never a doubt you will catch this artist with his children. It is never a time you catch not on point. He is the true definition of Family and Money.
Last but far from least, Westbank New Orleans singer and rapper JR The Lyrical Angel blesses us with his presence during the show. With his strong yet angelic voice, we placed him spot to give us a taste of his sound. JR is an aspiring artist moving forward to become the next big sensation. His ability to sing and spit major bars keeps everyone astonished. We ask him how his life has been affected music. He had a tough Road to where he is today. He is truly a living testimony. He allowed the audience to hear his upcoming track “Crossroads”. One of our favorite projects he produced. JR is currently working on a project and we look forward to hearing more from him.
Overall the show became a success! We united artists and entities they may have never met before. We had several we would like to thank for being apart of our project:
Rudy Alexander (Takeover Studios/ A&R with Rap-A-Lot)
