Freeway Rick Ross Shares Life After Federal Prison & Being A Major Impact in The Cocaine Epidemic

Rick Ross became a major figure in the crack cocaine trade in Los Angeles in the 1990s. He was later sentenced to life in Federal Prison. He now devotes his time and energy to assist the younger generation in the communities across the globe. He used to make 2-3 million dollars a day in that line of work. Now he is a well known mentor and plans to be the biggest marijuana seller on the planet.

As Rick Ross is on his third book which is called “21 Keys of Success, shares how he began working with Author Kolie Crutcher. Kolie followed him and his life six months after being released from prison. The book will share struggles, disappointments, joy, and much more. It will help anyone if they abide by the principles shared in his book.

As we know, the artist Rick Ross with Maybach Music, uses him name willingly. The Real Rick Ross says that the artist doesn’t embrace him and show the respect as he should. He has no relationship with Rick Ross and says Rozay denies getting the name from him. He still wishes him the best.

As for prison reform, he will continue to asssist those in need of knowledge and resources. He is a mentor and counsels others on how to strive in the struggles on this planet.

He stated how John Singleton ripped him off from “Snow Fall”. He wasn’t too pleased with it and what’s everyone to know who story that really is.

Freeway Rick Ross describes himself as a black man within struggles as most men. He shares his legacy by moving forward. He keeps growing and become inspired by most who counted him out. His obituary was written about 1998 in a Texas magazine. The article was found the same year he was released. Not only was he not dead but he was able to see within the future. He began to thrive more than many would imagine.

Rick Ross is one man who believes in giving someone a shot in life. It’s imperative to embrace our people and motivate them as well. His energy filled the room during his interview. He shares a different light that gives him a flourishing aspect on life. Despite his past, and actually living it, he still seems humble and a lord willing man. He have other ventures such as working in boxing, having a clothing line, real estate, and more. He shares with some advice to become a critical thinker and believe in yourself.

Entrepreneur/Actor Lucky Johnson Gives Insight About His Leading Roles In The Film Industry

Lucky Johnson had a great year within his filming career. Being featured in three big screen movies this year, he continues to break barriers in the film industry and the city of New Orleans. Now you can currently see him in theaters in “Queen and Slim” “Semper Fi” and “Black and Blue”. Lucky learned the fundamentals of acting at the age of eleven. Wearing several hats as a director and an actor, he began with his first movie “Block Party” to his first breakthrough movie “Contraband”. Lucky shares how the growth from his beginnings until now becomes a blessing.

Over 1000 Backpacks Given To Kids At The Back To School Drive Supply Giveaway in Houston

Summer is now approaching an end and the children are getting prepared for this school year. What makes this so unique was to see the community gather such a delightful school drive to prepare children and parents. This may have been a hot sunny day but it did not stop everyone from working together to create an impactful event.

Councilman Jerry Davis, Bread of Life, Impacting Houston, and East Houston Civic Club joined forces to have the back to school supply giveaway at A.G. Hilliard Elementary in North East Houston. Stepping unto the schools’ grounds, you could not help to view many children enjoying the fun, food and games at hand. They were given school supplies, hair cuts and hair do’s, and also everyday necessities for families. Councilman Jerry Davis gives tickets to WWE match and there were also cash raffles with East Houston Civic Club. From bounce machines to the break dancing challenges, the children got a chance to end summer with a bang!

We had the chance to speak with several community organizations and businesses as the provide information of their products and services:

Fredy Gomez with Harris County Texas, Shambriah Busby with Healing Hearts, and Desiree Barnes with United Health Care. Drive HISD was also in attendance, sharing their mission with school transportation.

With invites, we got the chance to see Miss Cynthia Bailey who is currently running for District B work hard with Impacting Houston Inc. Cynthia’s work ethnics and experiences in the community gives a huge impact to the neighborhoods. She strives to create a better quality of life for all residents in District B. As the backpacks and supplies were given to families, one of the main occurrences was to watch the teamwork from everyone.

There were over 1000 backpacks given to the children this weekend. This shined the facility even more with smiles from kids preparing to get back to school. We would like to thank Jerry Davis, Principal Erika Kimble with A.G. Hilliard Elementary, Bread of Life, Impacting Houston, and The East Houston Civic Club for sharing moments given to the future of the next generations.

Her presence on “Ready” was strong and yet sweet with her way to switch up the tones in each track. She has one feature from Seb Hollywood on “Different Lanes”.

Pee Supreme talks about her inspiration behind her campaign “I Am The Bag”. She explains that its not only about money but self confidence you bring about yourself. “Getting The Bag within You”. She signifies women’s empowerment and should be supported by every queen across the globe!

New Podcast Gives Twist with Informative Topics and Music Combined

We all know blogging has manifested into other avenues to interact with readers and supporters. Now there’s a new launch to the newest edition to The Nyte Lyfe. We now have a podcast called “In The Nyte Lyfe”. The podcast gives you “Real News, In Real Time”.

It brings awareness to music and its culture, community issues, fashion and art, and the urban lifestyles with a twist! Expect the fun and laughter out the show as special appearances are making way. What makes the show set aside from other entertainment podcasts is the updates with relevant news.

The episodes bring up topics that do not get enough exposure throughout new age social media. In The Nyte Lyfe chats about prison reform, 5g and its effects, our community concerns, relationships, and what ever matters the most. Nyte Lyfe are no conspiracy theorists, but some news need to be talked about!

Expect Plenty Of Laughs with Houston’s Jeff Shelley – NLM Exclusive

A good laugh is always good for the soul, especially seeing one of Houston’s comedians Jeff Shelley skits via Instagram or at one of his stand up shows. Jeff Shelley is an actor and also an artist, whose career swiftly manifested after a layoff from his job a few years ago. This lead Jeff into becoming a go to for anyone looking to release some tears of joy!

Jeff Shelley had several stand up shows, movie scenes, plays, and more. As the artist, Jeff becomes “Counterfeit” where he gives you comedy hip-hop. Check out his album “The Fakest Story Ever Told”. With his influence from legends such as Martin Lawrence, it helped Jeff to be original within his own craft in comedy.

Sitting with Jeff at The Media Block was exciting with his great vibes and energy. He speaks on being his hardest critic. Also he says how he make people laugh without forcing it. He speaks how he lost his job a few years back. Working with his friend at the shop, the truck suddenly stops and stopped them from getting orders done. This lead to him seeking other opportunities. Hearing his story should motivate others to move forward and never stop.

We spoke about the difference between the older generations of comedians and the modern day. We tapped in on the influence that social media has on the comedy world today. Jeff explains how time gets better with technology. He explains the difference in styles, the consistency, the hard work needed to be heard. You couldn’t go viral as easy as you could today years ago.

Styles P Brings Good Vibes During His Performance At Loud Fest NOLA – NLM Exclusive

How else would “The Ghost” himself pull up for “The NOLA Loud Fest” in New Orleans? With positive energy and the rawest tracks he could have ever created. D Block’s General Styles P bought the real thorough hip hop heads to The Howlin’ Wolf August 24th.

Styles P recently dropped his EP “G-Host” and was perfect timing for the streets to lock in. You can check it out in all media outlets.

With dope sounds by DJ Keith Scott, and MC Dollar on the mic, it was for sure a smoke session throughout the facility.

We chopped it up with B-Nice, New Orleans Event Host And Entertainment Influencer, who curates an enlightening show for the Independent and Underground music scene. He allows artists from the city to present their talents with some of the most influential mainstream artists in the nation.

The opening acts had the right to kill the stage. We enjoyed their performance.

One thing we did noticed, was a few opening acts left before the OG himself even stepped foot onto the stage. With an honor to present yourself before an artist such as Styles P, you would expect the artists and crowd to stay for the main act. Not sure what may have caused this, but it was mind boggling to see the crowd fled away. We believe paying dues no matter what level is perceived to be. Respect and honor the leaders who lead us.

Overall, the NOLA Loud Fest was pretty cool, Styles P even came out with Hennessy bottles and poured up with the fans. Definitely a highlight moment. Big up to him and his team. We look forward to see who they will be having at the next Fest.
