Nas Drops Long Awaited “Nasir” – Album Listening Review

With Nas dropping his new album “Nasir” his fans quickly calls it a  classic. “Nasir” is his 11th studio album. Kayne West Exeucutive produced the album, as he does the same with G.O.O.D Music releases. He gave the world a live stream of his listening party in Queens. The energy was filled with postive vibes, people awaiting these blasting tracks from Nas.

Nas becomes more personal with his life and journey as a  Black King, Artist, Father, Loved One, and more. Every track is much appreicated. Nas talks about major issues in the black society. How things are against everthing we should stand for as being black. Giving his fans wisdom to the truths in our wicked world.

Nas album is actually 26 minutes, which concludes the seven tracked masterpiece “Nasir”. There was even features from The Dream which suites perfect in opinion.

The album cover is a photo of five young black boys lined up against a wall in South Dallas where drugs and violence was at an all time high.

Big Twins & DJ +Spizz Presents EP “Billy Ocean”

The Infamous Big Twins aka “Twin Gambino” collaborated with DJ Spizz with EP “Billy Ocean”. The Queensbridge artist and Brooklyn based DJ has blessed hip hop with there new project September 29,2017 . The project consists of eight tracks featurung Fashawn, Chinky, Royal Flush, and Conway. As his late brother Prodigy recently passed, he still pays homage to Queen’s O.G.

The EP has a nice flow and beat but yet still grimey. The sounds of “Billy Ocean” has a feel good vibe. You can still hear the authenticy of the album. With Big Twins voice and DJ Spizz production, this was something needed for our hip-hop culture. Big Twins voice over powers everything. He sent messgaes throughout each track. There are even vinyls pressed of “Billy Ocean” you can purchase as well. We appreciate this collaboration that continue embrace dope music and still street on all levels.
